ALAS serves students across America, particularly historically marginalized students with an emphasis on Latino youth. ALAS state affiliates have over 31 million enrolled students nationwide, of which more than 10 million are English Language Learners. Our dedicated members in districts across more than 25 states actively engage in a broad range of programs, such the ALAS Superintendents Leadership Academy, National Principal Leadership Academy, Women’s Superintendent Policy Leadership Academy, networking groups, affinity committees, annual events, and webinars. These initiatives aim to foster, highlight and scale equitable and transformative leadership practices of promise.

Types of Memberships
ALAS features four types of membership. Each membership has varying levels of access to features.
- IndividualIndividual membership for Superintendents, Central Office Admin, Principals and more.
- DistrictDistrict membership for districts of all sizes that includes a set number of individual membership plus additional benefits.
- InstitutionInstitutional membership for College, University, and Dept of Education level personnel plus additional benefits.
- EnterpriseEnterprise membership for Search Firms and Legal Firms.
