About ALAS


The Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents [ALAS] is a forward-thinking organization committed to fostering educational equity for all students, especially those from historically marginalized backgrounds. ALAS members are driven by a shared mission to inform, inspire, and positively influence education communities nationwide. We strive to personally and professionally empower our members through interactive events, discovery webinar sessions, and robust listening and learning networks.

We offer a comprehensive range of programs, networks, and affinity groups designed to challenge conventional thinking and innovative approaches in education. These resources are aimed at assisting educators in providing inclusive and effective educational systems. Furthermore, as a national organization, we actively organize On-the-Hill Advocacy events to ensure that pressing issues in education are voiced, emphasizing solution-based opportunities.

At ALAS , our state affiliates are dedicated to building a brighter future together for students by creating a platform for collaboration, growth, and impactful change in the education sector.
