JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Health Services works collaboratively with district staff, families, community partners and students to support the vision of The Bellingham Promise. Responsibilities include creating and implementing a tiered system of health services by establishing systems and training for staff, providing consultation focused on preventative and responsive health needs and connecting students and families with resources. This position is responsible for alignment, integration, and collaboration of the most effective and efficient approach to maximizing the health and well-being of both students and school staff and will coordinate among community partners and organizations for the delivery of a coordinated comprehensive school health program.
