ALP Senior Partnerships Consultant

Advanced Learning Partnership’s (ALP) Senior Partnerships Consultant’s (SPC) role leads and supports ALP  colleagues in strategic partnerships across diverse learning organizations. This role requires proven success and experience as a K-12 educator, manager/administrator, and consultant. It also entails district partner support and travel required in the Southeastern region of the United States (FL, GA, AL, MS, LA). The SPC leads regional partnerships development and his/her work entails:

  • building strong relationships and trust with ALP colleagues and partners (school district personnel, corporate partners, professional organizations); 

  • leading people and processes in the design and implementation of professional learning and coaching services for educators (teachers, principals, coaches, district leaders, etc.); 

  • leveraging ALP services by aligning with district partner’s initiatives, mission, and strategy. 

The SPC guides reflection opportunities and feedback for a subset of newer consultants and/or contract consultants on the delivery of ALP services, Partner Feedback Survey results, and provision of resources for delivering ALP services. The SPC’s role moves beyond the Educational Consultant’s role as it entails building strong relationships with corporate partners, pursuing business development opportunities in a given region, and coordinating and oversight teams delivering services within their region. 

The SPC is a key contributor to the Business Development team and its related strategic priorities. The SPC provides leadership and consultation on defining and expanding ALP’s thought leadership and voice via social media platforms and website content as it relates to stories, impact, and successes in the communities served in the SPC’s region.

Required Work Experience:

  • Accomplished classroom educator (5+ years)

  • District and/or School Administrator, Instructional Coach, specialist, or coordinator with a preference for recognized expertise in instructional technologies, grant and proposal writing, curriculum & instruction, and/or educational leadership (7+ years) - or - Coordinating, consultant, and/or specialist role in the educational consulting organization (7+ years).

  • Significant experience facilitating professional learning (large and small group; one-on-one classroom-embedded coaching; leadership coaching) (7+ Years)

  • Project and/or program management experience (5+ years)

  • Preference is given to candidates who reside in and have an established professional network in the Southeastern Region of the U.S. (FL, GA, AL, MS, LA) 

Required Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Master’s Degree in Education or related field 

  • Advanced teacher certifications (e.g., National Board) preferred but not required.

Work Environment

  • This role entails air travel, mostly within the U.S., and requires significant organizational and time management skills. While travel fluctuates based on workflow demands, on average SPCs will spend approximately 50-60% of time in the design and delivery of both remote and onsite services. 

  • Approximately 40-50% constitutes time working toward coordination of partnership region’s staffing, workflow management, and communications and/or contributions toward ALP strategic priority projects. This role requires strong self-driven work habits and advanced skills in communication including written, oral, and virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc.).
