Director – Multicultural Education

The School District of Palm Beach County - West Palm Beach, Florida

The annual total budget exceeds $4 billion and the District is the largest employer in Palm Beach County with over 22,000 full-time employees.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree with certification in Administration and Supervision, Educational Leadership or School Principal, or related field. 

• Evidence of successful experience working with English Language Learners.

• Experience with implementation of curriculum and academic instructional practices of Dual Language programming. 

• Knowledge of local, State and Federal funding and requirements applicable to the work as well as District policies, procedures and guidelines for ESOL programs. 

• Successful experience as a school center, area, or District administrator.  

• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.

• Knowledge of current computing technologies and software applications appropriate to the position’s job responsibilities.

• Demonstrated successful experience in collaborating with external partners. 

Salary: $114,064 - $204,041
