The Green Bay Area Public School District School Board currently seeks a leader that is an engaging, dynamic and transformational leader who embraces the district’s mission to educate all students to be college, career and community ready, inspired to succeed in our diverse world. Green Bay Area Public School District (GBAPSD) is the fourth largest public school district in the State of Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have an accomplished record as an instructional leader in a diverse school system, with a thorough understanding of instructional supervision and continuous school improvement, outstanding communication skills, and a proven commitment to equity and promoting opportunities for all students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of effective literacy practices, and have experience in successfully leading a team that has positively impacted student achievement for all students. The ideal candidate should bring experience in addressing budget constraints and demonstrate an ability to work with all stakeholders to determine priorities. The district desires a Superintendent that will provide stability and a vision of success as the community celebrates the recent passing of a $92.6 million dollar facilities referendum.

Green Bay Area Public School District (GBAPSD), founded in 1856, is a state and nationally recognized public school district located in Green Bay, WI. The school district is located on the southern shores of Green Bay, on the west side of Lake Michigan. The school district encompasses 92 square miles and six communities serving 19,000+ students with a staff of 3,700+ in 42 schools. Community

The City of Green Bay is located 117 miles north of Milwaukee.
