Hanover County Public Schools (HCPS) is an award-winning school division that serves approximately 17,000 students in grades Pre-K – 12 across 24 schools. HCPS is widely regarded for its commitment to educational excellence and fostering a strong sense of community. The Hanover School Board is seeking an outstanding executive educational leader who understands the County’s values, and will work to ensure every student is ready to become an important part of the community. The successor superintendent is expected to become a visible and integral part of the county community.
Candidates must have or be immediately eligible for a Virginia DOE 8VAC20 Division Superintendent License. A multi-year contract will be offered with a salary in the range of $250,000 per annum subject to actual qualifications, experience, and negotiation.
