Kenosha Unified School District

Job Description: The Kenosha Unified School District is Wisconsin’s third-largest school district. It is a 4K – grade 12 district serving 19,620 students. There are 22 elementary schools, five middle schools, three high schools, five charter schools, four-choice schools, one specialty school, one Head Start facility, and one district office. The district employs more than 3,500 total staff, including 173 administrative/supervisory/technical staff, 1,750 teachers, and 310 educational support professionals among others. The 2021-22 annual operating budget is over  $305 million. The district serves the City of Kenosha, Village of Pleasant Prairie, and Town and Village of Somers in southeastern Wisconsin, specifically eastern Kenosha County. It is bound by the Illinois border to the south, Racine County to the north, Lake Michigan to the east and Interstate 94 to the west. Visit the district website at www.kusd.edu.

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Wisconsin superintendent’s license.
