Lincoln Public Schools (LPS), the second largest school district in Nebraska is seeking a dynamic leader. LPS serves 42,000 students in more than 60 schools and programs. LPS is located in the heart of the plains and is the home of the University of Nebraska. The school district has 6500 employees with an annual operating budget of $462,803,195. Superintendent Dr. Steve Joel is retiring after serving as the LPS Superintendent for 11 years.
