The Governing Board of the Litchfield Elementary School District, Litchfield Park, Arizona, is seeking a highly qualified, fully certified, educational leader to serve as Superintendent. The Board wishes to have the successful candidate assume the responsibilities of the position July 1, 2023.
McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., Executive Recruitment and Development, has been engaged as the consultant in a search for outstanding candidates. They will assist the Governing Board in identifying and screening the candidates.
Enrollment: 10,500 students
Location: 20 miles west of Phoenix
The Qualifications
The candidate must have the background, skills, and abilities essential for excellence in educational leadership. The Board recognizes that selecting a superintendent is one of the most important decisions it will make. The Board developed the following desired characteristics.
The successful candidate will:
Be an experienced educational leader with a successful track record of improving student and district outcomes.
Be a collaborative communicator that will build strong relationships with the Board of Trustees and district stakeholders.
Be an accountable, results-oriented leader that can quickly develop plans based on district data.
Possess high personal integrity and a belief that quality educational opportunities are integral for the preparation of our students for high school.
