Tacoma Public Schools (TPS) is actively recruiting for a creative, adaptive, and highly effective High School Principal to lead the innovative Lincoln High School – Home of the Abes! Lincoln High School is the second oldest high school in Tacoma, first opening its doors in 1914. Many revolutionary programs exist here, including an award winning culinary-arts program and The Lincoln Center, a school-within-a-school funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This extended day program offers students an additional class period during the day for rigorous curriculum, as well as support with homework, mentorships, and post-graduation planning.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in continuing to lead the staff and students in providing a responsive and dynamic education program and moving this ground-breaking school forward.
