Principal – West Gate Elementary
In your resume/cover letter include evidence of your experience in the following:
• Current Principal with Title I and Secondary experience for at least five years within the last ten years
• Evidence and successful experience leading the implementation of school-wide initiatives to maintain and/or improve school climate and culture
• Experience at increasing equity and access for diverse student populations
• Evidence of establishing expectations and overseeing the procedures and processes that keep their schools safe and secure.
• Bilingual - Spanish - Preferred
• Evidence of establishing of effective collaboration and communication with staff, students, parents, and community
• Evidence of experience with complex programming (ie DL, ELL, ESE, Academies, Choice, etc.)
• Evidence of Improving academic outcomes of students including subgroups at all performance levels

1. Florida Educator's Certificate or Statement of Status of Eligibility Letter from the Florida Department of Education covering School Principal. This document should be uploaded as a Certifications and Licenses attachment.
2. Proof of completing a Principal or Assistant Principal preparation program with a school district. This is not a college degree transcript, but a program offered by a school district or state to prepare employees to become an Assistant Principal or Principal. This document should be uploaded as a Principal/AP Prep Program attachment.
3. Last two years of evaluations. These documents should be uploaded as an Evaluation attachment.

Salary range: $98,400 to $140,260
