POSITION TITLE: Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
SUPERVISES: Human Resources Department,Teacher Effectiveness Initiatives, and Peer Assistance and Review
POSITION GOAL(S):
Develop the vision, mission, goals, and objectives and measurable outcomes for human resources in collaboration with other district leaders to ensure that U-46 recruits, retains, develops, recognizes, and rewards a high quality workforce that can manage ongoing change successfully while meeting the diverse needs of students, parents and the community. Directs and leads the district’s human resources and human capital policies and procedures including a wide variety of programs and activities. Assists, collaborates and supervises in a variety of instances with the development and assessment of the Teacher Effectiveness programs. Serves as a member of the Superintendent’s Executive Cabinet advising district leadership regarding current and future human resource issues. Assists with the implementation of quality professional development experiences for all employee groups. Acts as the primary Human Resource Advisor to the Superintendent and District staff.
